Real name Vida Addo Asare, also known as Vida Asare is a unique minstrel that captivates worshippers all over the world with her powerful gift of singing.
Vida Asare can best be described as a woman of strong faith, anointed and gifted with a depth of musical talent. Her interest in music developed in her early childhood as a hobby. Growing up, she sang at various Sunday School services, social gatherings and family events.
By the inspiration of the Holy Ghost and the special grace of God, she graces great platforms, Spirit-filled ministries and churches to the Glory of God.
Her new album, Onyame Honhom, which was launched in December 2021 is making waves across Ghana and the globe in general. Vida Asare composes all her songs under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. She is one of the pivotal voices at the renowned Potter’s Praise, a platform blessed over the years by great gospel giants such as Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Dunsin Oyekan and Phil Thompson, to name a few.
She is a Lead Worshipper at Potters City in Miotso, Prampram; a centre of revival founded and headed by Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie.
In her early life, she was raised in Takoradi in the Western region of Ghana, where she completed her Primary, Secondary and Tertiary education.
Vida Asare is happily married to a humble man of God and they are blessed with three boys in addition to their adopted sons and daughters. Aside her ministry, she is a wonderful Caterer.
