The 2024 edition of the Winepress Conference, hosted by Harvesters International Christian Centre, concluded on the 26th of January 2024.

The 4-day annual non-denominational conference was held at the 50,000 seater Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos and hosted by Pastors Bolaji & Omowunmi Idowu, the lead pastors of HICC.

The annual spiritual encounter and renewal conference has become one of the most prominent religious events in Nigeria, drawing hundreds of thousands of physical and virtual attendees who see the conference as a source of spiritual succor and restoration.

Worshippers from across the country gathered to pray, praise and receive exhortation. Also ministering at the conference were worship ministers Sunmisola Agbebi, Abbey Ojomu and Mr M and Revelation.

Speaking on the conference Pastor Bolaji Idowu said,

“We are humbled that year after year, God uses our ministry to reach so many people, affirming their faith, working miracles and spreading the gospel. The growth we have experience since we began hosting this vital part of our ministry is testament to the power of the Holy Spirit.”

The overaching theme the conference this year was the significance of Prayer, and the minister delved deep, referencing scripture to outline the blue print for a successful prayer life.

Over 500,000 virtual attendees worshipping via Youtube and Instagram over the course of three days, joined the thousands of worshippers who physically attended the conference. A healing clinic was organised for those seeking healing and restoration and the venue resounded with testimonies as the Spirit moved. Worshippers reported testimonies of a breast lump that dissolved, a healed neck growth, pain in the knee gone, wheelchairs and crutches abandoned following a prophetic word from Pastor Bolaji. The conference closed with an Impartation Service on Sunday at the church’s Headquarters in Lekki Phase One.

Winepress continues to be a bridge connecting Christians from all creeds and denominations and a powerful demonstration of the Holy Spirit at a time when many are struggling to keep faith.
