Convener of the ‘New Wine Concert’ Nana Yaw Boakye Yiadom, popularly known as MOGMUSIC has cleared the air on tabloids reporting his support for the LGBTQ+ movement.

Addressing thousands of his followers live on his Instagram page on Wednesday evening, MOGMUSIC emphatically debunked the assertion he supports LGBTQ+.
The ‘Be Lifted’ hit maker however in his address monitored by Glovershub.com noted that the only way Christians can win the LGBTQ+ community over is by showing love, teaching them the scriptures and the ways of God.

‘ I don’t have a problem working with an LGBTQ+ person and their condition to me isn’t a problem but it seems some media houses have coined it in a way to satisfy or get the buzz, views or numbers for themselves to make it look as if I support the act of these people. I want to state emphatically and clearly on this platform though my team will bring out a publication. I’m not being forced to say this but the messages I see spreading on the internet has made me come out to say this. I Nana Yaw Boakye Yiadom a.k.a MOGMUSIC, I don’t support the act of LGBTQ+ however these people are dealing with things that show clearly that they need help and the only way we show help is when we the Christians who are called and saved by God knowing the consequences of this act they find themselves in, the only way we can save them and correct them is through love,’ he stated.

MOGMUSIC also called on the churches to have offices that will counsel people who are in that act, have counselors who will sit them down and talk to them without being judged and oppressed. He believes it will serve as an avenue of love to these people.

In a related development, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s edition of ‘New Wine Concert’ will go virtual on 20th March, 2021 and is expected to see Ghanaian Gospel music giants like Ohemaa Mercy,Joe Mettle, Luigi Maclean, Herty Corgie amongst others bless God’s people through their music.
New Wine Concert is a night of worship meant to bring people into the presence of God through worship and praise irrespective of their denominational affiliations. It is organized by MOG Music under the auspices of the Most Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, the Founder and the Apostle General of Royalhouse Chapel International.
