PRAISE ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS UNVEILS OFFICIAL NOMINEES FOR LANDMARK 5TH EDITION

Theme: “Celebrating Greatness, Honoring Excellence” The prestigious Praise Achievement Awards (PAA) has officially unveiled the nominees for its landmark 5th Edition, following a star-studded ceremony held on Sunday, 18 October 2026, at the African Regent Hotel in Accra. Anchored by the theme “Celebrating Greatness, Honoring Excellence,” the ceremony brought together gospel music luminaries, established and emerging artistes, pastors, producers, label executives, media practitioners and other stakeholders from Ghana’s gospel music industry and beyond. Nominees attended in strong numbers as contenders were announced across competitive and honorary categories celebrating excellence, creativity and impact in gospel music. Reaching its fifth edition marks a significant milestone for the awards scheme, which continues to spotlight the people, music and platforms contributing to the growth of gospel music in Ghana, across Africa and within the diaspora. This year’s official list spans artistes, vocalists, songs, albums, music videos, events, broadcasters, media platforms, producers, instrumentalists, groups and other contributors to the gospel music ecosystem. Commenting on the milestone, the Office of Public Relations reaffirmed the scheme’s commitment to recognition, credibility and excellence. Public Relations Officer Precious Mawunyako, said the fifth edition reflects both the faithfulness that has sustained the awards and the depth of talent shaping gospel music today. “Five editions of the Praise Achievement Awards represent half a decade of God’s faithfulness and a testament to the immense growth of gospel music across Ghana, Africa and the global diaspora. This year’s nomination list reflects a rigorous evaluation process, honouring veteran trailblazers and the vibrant new wave of gospel ministers who continue to shape culture and reach lives through music,” he said. The nominees’ unveiling now sets the stage for the next phase of the awards journey, with nominees, fans, industry stakeholders and the wider public invited to follow official PAA channels for updates on voting, academy membership and the main awards ceremony scheduled for Sunday, 13 December 2026.
